History

Having known each other for many years, Charlie founder Matthew Zink commisioned Carlos Huber early in 2022 to create his first signature fragrance. Under Huber's direction, perfumer Yann Vasnier, an elegant master of musk and suede, created a fragrance as direct, deep and erotic as the brief. As Huber says: “This fragrance has an incredible magic: it’s commanding and arresting. A direct, sharp ‘come here’ message that is unmissable: you simply cannot ignore it. Like burning embers glowing under the ashes, it has the power to reignite a bonfire. And it's of the most deeply sexual fragrances I’ve ever developed. A harmony of smoky notes with a spicy hook that commands attention. Every time I’ve worn it people comment, ask, draw near and sigh: I need this.”
